Dating Women - What If She Does Not Kiss You On a First Date?

I recently went on a first date with a woman. Things seemed to be going pretty well but when I leaned into kiss her, she said she doesn't kiss on a first date. I am sure she is not the first or the last woman to say this.

What Does This Mean?

Fortunately for me, it meant nothing because shortly there after she did kiss me. However we did talk about it a little while later and her claim was that if a guy was willing to go out with her again just for a kiss then she knew he was genuinely interested. I do understand this and for me personally it was to some extent attractive because I knew she was likely not an easy girl. Also she quickly backed her claim up with the fact that most men will still have sex with a woman regardless of their interest.

While this is true, I explained to her that typically I would take a rejection of a first kiss as a bad sign. Because it does not always mean just that (no kiss on a first date), unfortunately it is not uncommon for women to lie to men. Look no farther than when women tell men "we are too good of friends to date." This comment is not entirely true, and is often instead said to avoid having to tell a guy that she is not interested.

I also told her that I am a firm believer in kissing on a first date. I figure if I am willing to go out with you on a second date then I am willing to kiss you. Additionally I have been told those crushing words from a woman "that we were too good of friends to date." I believe that commonly those words are said when a man waits to long.

In other words at one point the woman was interested in him and was willing to kiss him, however he simply waited to long. She either moved on, or was forced out of necessity to think of him just as a friend. I say out of necessity to protect her feelings.

In our society it is clear that men are required to initiate every thing, at least 98% of the time. Put yourself in her shoes, she has a crush on you however you keep dragging your feet on actually trying to kiss her. Thus, can you blame her for moving on and assuming you are just a friend after so long?

I encourage you to always kiss on a first date, especially if you are genuinely interested in her. It will avoid the possibility of you being classified as 'too good of a friend.' And it is fun to kiss girls! - 31521

Deal With Depression With A One-Two Punch

Modern society helps make more reasons to be depressed. Luckily, you will find more effective ways to do something about it nowadays too. But it really is infuriating when someone believes you should just have the ability to snap out of it - as if you might be just having a stomach ache or something.

And occasionally you may encounter folks in your life like my friend, John, who appears over-the-top excited and cheerful everyday. It's funny, he reminds me of that character on the Simpsons called "Ned Flanders," and I'd chuckle to myself when I'd think of that comparison.

When is a person labeled "clinically depressed?" Clinical depression has a long list of signs and symptoms, but quickly it simply indicates you feel so down for a minimum of two weeks that you can't carry out the things you usually do.

You likely already realize that depression is unique for different people. But the most severe kind of clinical depression is called MDD or "Major Depressive Disorder." But nobody starts out with MDD. They slide into it after some time, so you should not permit yourself to get that far down without first looking for help.

But a short summary of the obvious signs and symptoms of depression include: Sleeping too long or not long enough just about every night. Over-eating or under-eating habitually. Low energy, the feeling of being tired all the time. Other signs and symptoms that also occur with the others are a variety of inexplicable conditions like stomachaches or headaches.

So how do you deal with depression properly? The simple answer is with a blend of external help and self-help. We'll review both of these individually below:

Outside Support: The outside support should start with a search for a qualified health care provider in your town - somebody who is educated and experienced in dealing with depression. The best health care provider is going to be skilled in a lot of unique treatment methods, which means he or she doesn't have a background of only dispensing medication. Some doctors, for example, seem to always push for surgery over physical rehabilitation.

...So what you'd want to do is ask about a 'depression doctor's' treatment options. Which ones has he or she has used in the past year on patients? Because remember that often it's a combination of therapies that ends up being the most effective for people.

Self-Help Treatment Options: Thousands of 'hopelessly' depressed people are 'cured' of their depression every year by applying what they've read in self-help books. Do keep in mind, however, that this means you must WANT to be cured. Many depressed persons, however, are depressed because life requires that they do more than they'd like, so they tend to wait for a cure-all pill.

On the other hand, don't expect any permanent, long-lasting help from medication alone. That is, unless your particular problem is due 100% to a chemical imbalance in your brain (like low serotonin levels for example).

If you are completely dedicated battling your depression, however, and not waiting for some 'magic pill" to fix all of life's problems, then applying what you read in self-help books can do wonders for you. The reason for this is when you take an active role in your health and not a passive role, you are already 50 percent cured before you even start! I have felt and been a part of Biker Brotherhood almost all of my life. Growing up around My Father (Freelance Author on the Biker Lifestyle Pappy) and my Uncle Trey, I was taught what Biker Brotherhood was about from a very young age. As I grew up I heard many stories about the fun had at Parties, Runs and Rallies.

I also heard about protests (Mostly Helmet) I heard how Bikers were the last of the true Americans. I was taught Bikers believe in Freedom and are willing to fight for it at all costs! As I got older I attended many events and I rode allot.

I became active in Motorcycle Rights groups (mostly ABATE of NY) and I did my part to protect and promote the Biker Lifestyle, I wrote many articles in Biker Magazines and I DJed and MCed many Bike events helping to spread the word of Biker Rights.

In March of 2005 I became a Member of the Mortal Skulls MC and not long after I felt what it meant to be a part of a Motorcycle Club Brotherhood. I also got to know and learn from many members of other MC's. The more I learned and the better I got to know these Men (the world referred to as 1%ers and Outlaws) the more I realized most of these people were the best people in the world, These are the Men who made and continue to make America great! I had heard many negative things about Motorcycle Clubs over the years and the more I was grew apart of the MC life the more I realized something needed to be done.

So my focus shifted from covering parties in Magazines to writing about true Biker Brotherhood. I realized one of the things negatively effecting the Motorcycle World is no one was teaching the younger generation of Motorcycle riders what it really means to be a Biker. The rules and codes of the road where all being lost, TV Show and Docudramas where teaching a Biker History that had no basis in reality. To this day I continue look up and write down as much truth of the history of Motorcycles and the Motorcycle Club world as I can.

I was getting the word out but I wanted a way to be able to speak to Bikers so they could hear my words and feel them expressed as they came from my heart! I knew I wanted to do some kind of Biker Talk Radio Show to help get the message out there. Every radio station I spoke with was either not interested or wanted some huge amount of money up front .

One day I learned about internet Radio! I learned I could do a live show that could be heard world wide on every computer and also all the shows would be archived so they could be heard anytime from the beginning just by clicking on them. I soon started a weekly show about a half hour long each Wednesday coming up with the name "The Biker Lowdown" The show started with just me talking to people about different things going on in the Motorcycle World.

Not long after the show started I was getting weekly calls from this Guy Chuck who called himself the Alpha Biker, Checking his webpage out I quickly learned both me and Chuck were cut from the same cloth and He became the Co-host of the Biker Lowdown.

Soon after thanks to the on air Chemistry and the great radio banter between me and Chuck the show started taking off. My good friend Bjorn took over as the online webmaster creating a webpage all could be proud of.

Hammerin Hank soon joined the Biker Lowdown clan as our Research Reporter. Things just kept getting better for the show.We started getting many great guests and even a few really big names of the Motorcycle world.

When Brenda Fox came on the show one night for an interview to talk about the world of Women's Motorcycling, some where about five Minutes into the interview We all just knew We had a new member of the Biker Lowdown Family! This type of affirmation work is especially important when you don't feel like doing it, by the way. The Law of Attraction works on this, too. If you become discouraged, frustrated, sad or angry, don't worry about it, but change your attitude as soon as you recognize it and think of something positive. You'll ultimately need to change the way you deal with life and banish negative thoughts in order to use the Law of Attraction to your best benefit and to be fulfilled in your life.

In fact, your mind is your only to limitation to having the life you want. Do you think you can't live a life that's happy and abundant? Why not? Other people have certainly done it. Dwelling on the negative is only going to get you more negative, so don't do that.

Learn to 'go with the flow.' At any moment, you'll see that positive energy is always flowing and you are its beneficiary, in one way or another.

Once you begin to realize that the Law of Attraction and happiness are so interrelated, you'll also see that things will begin to come together in your life.

If you feel bad, you'll be unmotivated, or even worse, negatively motivated. You may become depressed, watch depressing movies, or call up and 'commiserate' with friends who are negative. If you don't watch out, your life itself could be full of negative circumstances and you won't even realize you've built your life that way.

Subconscious Mind Power - A Means To An End

If you've ever seen the old movie, "Field of Dreams," you might remember the saying, "If you build it, they will come." You have your own field of dreams, and that is your subconscious mind. In this case, "If you think it, it will come."

See, the power to create the life of your dreams, to change the person you are, to change the way things are in your life is all in your mind. The power of the mind is a beautiful thing, honestly. The mind has the power to heal us, to transcend us to make us feel good or make us feel bad. The subconscious mind power that each of us have is enough to completely change the world if we all would only take control of that power.

If you're skeptical, you're not alone. However, give me a chance to show you with a few examples just how powerful your mind is. One of my favorite examples is actually from the medical field, and works on a scientific basis. It's been documented time and time again, actually, and it's called the "placebo effect." The medical field has coined the term "placebo effect" to denote a specific type of effect. Oftentimes, for example, this term is used during medical trials. The control group is given a "placebo," which is an inert substance that has no medical benefit whatsoever as a drug might give. It's used as a counterpoint to the other group, which gets the actual medication. This is to clearly prove any benefit (or detriment) the drug itself might give. However, both groups are told what the medication is for and what it should do for them, and neither group knows which pill they've gotten; placebo or actual medication.

In absolutely each and every study the control group will provide similar results to the study group. Perhaps not in the same intensity, but you will have people that show improvements or exhibit changes or side effects that the medication can cause. Why is that? It is because they were told what the pill would do, they believed that they were being given the real pill and that they were either going to get better or get the side effects.

Or, let's take another example. Perhaps you've gone to the doctor to get a medication for something that's wrong with you. You may have noticed that although a doctor will tell you what the side effects are, he or she will usually minimize them to at least some extent. That's because it's been shown that patients will often exaggerate the side effects in their own minds (or become the small percentage that actually experiences severe side effects), and actually begin to experience those side effects as a sort of "negative self-fulfilling prophecy." Doctors don't want that to happen, so although they are beholden by law to tell you what side effects are, they don't exaggerate them specifically because they don't want patients to create side effects.

So as you can see, the subconscious mind is incredibly powerful, and can produce powerful results, through both the power of the subconscious mind and the power of suggestion. And as it works in medicine, so, too, can it work in your life to create positive change. What's preventing you from tapping into this most amazing power? You may want to use the power of suggestion to change the way your subconscious mind "talks to you."

You can use visualization to change the way you see things, too. Visualization is a very simple technique that really, really works. You can do this in a couple of different ways. Number one, close your eyes and visualize in your mind's eye what you want, seeing it as though it were right there in front of you.

Another way, and this is often used in conjunction with the first technique, is to create a physical picture. Let's say that what you want is a new car, find a picture of the car you want better yet, go get a picture taken of you with the car. Hang that picture up where you can see it every day; the more you see it, the more the vision is imprinted in your mind your subconscious mind the more power it has. The subconscious mind power that you have will make that vision a reality.

Although this has been common knowledge for years to the really rich and high achievers, it has only been recently that scientists have started to understand the very real scientific process associated with this.

Quantum physics has opened the door to "seeing" and observing this world at its essence. Subatomically, all matter is energy, and is not solid. And, quantum physics has also shown that this energy can be manipulated through thought. In fact, it has actually shown that energy cannot exist at all without being observed by someone.

So matter/energy only exists because it is being observed; in other words it is the mind which is responsible for the matter existing - not the other way around. All matter and hence all reality has been proven to be a creation of our mind. This is the true meaning of 'subconscious mind power'!

Ancient religions have known this for thousands of years, but quantum physics has now brought this into the modern age and into modern science at last. Whatever your spiritual belief structure or paradigm, the science of quantum physics cannot be denied.

So if you could change your life just by thinking about it, wouldn't you? All you have to do is harness your subconscious mind power. Use it to your advantage instead of letting it control you. Arm Toning And Motivation

Achieving arm tone doesn't have to be an uphill battle for you. Unfortunately for me, It was an uphill battle.

1. All/Nothing distortions. These distortions provide the foundation for perfectionism. If you find yourself having to have the perfect day of dieting or not dieting at all, then you suffer from this distortion. Don't try to get everything right every single time. Don't worry about small hiccups and always keep moving forward.

2. Over-generalizing distortions. Just because you haven't been successful today doesn't mean you can't be successful tomorrow. You simply haven't found the right approach. Yet with this distortion, you assume that your past failures will keep on being your future failures. The key here is to keep on trying new things with a fresh outlook.

3. Mental filtering distortions. Make sure to always give yourself credit for the smallest of achievements. With this distortion you hardly focus on the positive and prefer to focus on the negative. If you have a test, for instance, and get 99 questions right and 1 wrong, you focus on the one you got wrong!

Avoiding the above distortions will seriously help you achieve lasting motivation when trying to get arm tone. And lasting motivation is the key to sexy arm stardom.

Controlling Your Anger

Anger is just one in a number of emotions that combine to make up the real character and power of a person. The way you manage and control your anger helps to define some of the ways that the world responds to you.

Uncontrolled anger is dangerous and terrifying and usually leads to more anger. The other anger is controlled anger, and it is used to help solve problems. In truth, if it were not for anger there would be many times that we do not even know that something is wrong and needs fixing.

One way you can see if your anger is under control is by looking at the way you feel and act when you are getting angry. If you can be careful about what you say when angry, and are not tense or anxious inside you can suppose that your anger is controlled.

However, if when mad you only know what you had said when you had finished saying it then you should know that you need to learn to control your anger before you get into even more trouble.

There are many ways that you can control you anger. Are you going to control your anger? Good there are a lot of tools to help you do this? All you need to do is sort through and find the methods that work best for you.

To control your anger, two of the first things you must do are know when you are getting angry. Secondly you need to use your will power as soon as you start to get angry to do something that calms your anger down, instead of letting it grow up into a rage.

Excuse mehold on a minuteone secondbe right backyou can use one of these, or a similar phrase to rescue yourself from a potentially hostile situation. You only need to say it, walk away, and stay away until your anger has cooled off.

You use walking away as you would training wheels on a bicycle. You will not have to walk away forever. It would only be until you are managing your anger better. Once things are better, you will be able to jump over the walking away part and substitute another skill for it.

Until that time, you will stop anger from damaging your affairs by walking away and slowly counting, first to ten, then twenty, one hundred or whatever number you need to until you are relaxed again.

Until you are controlling your anger better, make sure that you are not underestimating the power of this act to help. It is simple, but it has helped others and it will help you too.

When you start to think about long term solutions, let your starting place be taking the time everyday to relax yourself. Coming out of your anger problems will be more rapid if you take the time to treat yourself to time alone thinking about the things that satisfy you. Whether you believe it or not, this will take a lot of the bite out of your anger.

Get some help with controlling your anger.

With a lot of people trying to help out with advice who do you turn to. In situations like this common sense should prevail. You want to look and see if you did something wrong. If you did, then it is easy. Just go and make things right.

Where it is most difficult is if everything shows that you committed no wrong. Then you need to see why your significant other wants out.

If it is something you are able to distinguish you will understand more. You will be able to tell if it is a situation you can rectify. Hopefully it is. As long as you guys continue to communicate then you can fix it. But naturally if the line of communication is broken it will be that much more difficult.

Learn Telepathy - What Is Holding You Back?

Autism - Getting A Diagnosis

Anyone with Autism? I am trying to get a diagnosis; if your GP refused to even contemplate you having Autism, and just told you that you have acute anxiety and should move on....would you accept this or go private for a diagnosis? Thanks for answers, can anyone tell me how many sessions it might take to diagnose Asperger's with a private psychiatrist?

From what you saying, your symptoms do not resemble autism or Asperger's to me. I do not really know why would you want a diagnosis SPECIFICATION, where most people (of any type) with problems go to doctors and then, the doctors determine what the patients should or should not be diagnosed with.

Anyway, if you really had Asperger's, you'd have many of the following symptoms: - difficulties with: non-verbal communication, gestures, tone of voice, posture, facial expressions - stuttering and hesitating / difficulty with small talk - logical/objective view of everything, difficulty seeing how things come across from others' point(s) of view - intense (or, obsessional) interest/fascination for a narrow/specific subject area - knowledge/interest of a specific subject area without regard for it's proper context - aloof / deep / up-in-the-clouds way of thinking - delayed communication (i.e. took longer to talk/socialize/etc) - hyper-sensitivity (i.e. can't tolerate loud noise or bright lights) - ritualistic routines / obsessive-compulsive traits / can't cope with not knowing what to expect - odd behaviors/habits/thinking/ - excessive daydreaming / in a world of your own.

There are probably some other symptoms I missed, but anxiety/depression is often a result of what comes with the social difficulties. People with such symptoms struggle, if not fail to fit in - they often experience bullying and rejection and therefore may go through anger, depression, bitterness, social anxiety, and the like.

Bottom line is, if the only symptoms you have are social anxiety / depression, then you are far better off dealing with those issues as they are. Being diagnosed with something like autism has major drawbacks. - 31521

Coping with anger means that it is still a part of you. It is likely that you often think about the things that annoy you and do not act out, but you are still able to do better. There is still a lingering problem because the anger is still a part of you.

To begin with, people must understand that each chakra has its own different resonant frequency which corresponds to naturally occurring frequencies. These frequencies which facilitate the energy reception and transmission functions of the chakras; otherwise referred to as qi, chi or prana.

During periods of illnesses, our chakras are still functioning but may be out of synch which can hamper the free flow of energy to further aggravate our physical and/or mental and emotional illness. Easy Astral Projection Techniques

Fortunately for those who want to learn how to astral project, there are a number of techniques which can help. Of course, even though one technique may work for someone, that doesn't necessarily mean it will work for everyone, because after all, we are all unique individuals. Interestingly enough, the vast majority of people who experience difficulty with some of the techniques, do so simply because there are unable to relax sufficiently.

One thing you need to bear in mind right from the very beginning, is that total relaxation is essential, irrespective of which technique you choose to use. Unfortunately, because there are still many misconceptions regarding astral projection, many newcomers experience a certain degree of fear and this in itself prevents them from being able to relax. Contrary to what you may have heard, one cannot be harmed and neither can you die from astral projection. In fact, the Canterbury institute even went as far as doing some research involving 2,000 people, in order to squash such fears.

All the people who took part in the research had participated in astral projection and institute determined that not one of those people were harmed in any way after having followed the various techniques. Furthermore, having followed the 2,000 people for no less than three years, the institute also established the fact that nobody reported any problems.

Now that we've nipped the fear issue in the bud, let's take a look at a few of the astral projection techniques, all of which have helped a great number of people in the past. The good news is; all these techniques are also relatively easy. The first technique which we'll discuss is known as the Monroe Technique and it consists of seven main steps:

* Relaxing mind and body. The simplest way to achieve this is by practicing deep breathing, in addition to relaxing all the muscles of the body one at a time. You can do this by tensing and then the releasing them, starting with your toes and then working your way up through the rest of your body.

* Reaching a hypnotic state. Essentially you need to reach a point where your mind and body is just on the verge of going to sleep, although of course you don't want to actually fall asleep. This can be achieved by using the gazing method. Simply lie on your bed and begin staring at something until such time that your eyes close and yet you're still able to see the object.

* Once you reach a stage where you can still see the object even though your eyes are closed, you then need to deepen the state you're in. In order to do this, you should keep your eyes closed and start looking around, taking note of all the things you can see. During this stage it is not uncommon to see various light patterns and a purple glow. However, one shouldn't pay too much attention to this but instead, one should stay focused until such time that the light disappears. Once you no longer see the light you will have moved into a deeper state of relaxation. By this stage you mind and body is so relaxed that you will more than likely no longer be aware of your physical body.

* This next step which revolves around a state of vibration is extremely important according to Monroe. Also, most people who are involved with the actual projection to indicate that these vibrations become noticeable in the early stages of projection. In fact, it is said that these vibrations signal the time when your astral body begins to separate from your physical body. This is a perfectly normal phenomenon and as such, there is no reason for concern.

* Controlling the state of vibration. In order to do this one needs to focus on the vibrations and attempt to move them through your body. In other words you should aim to feel these vibrations throughout your body. When you reach this stage it should feel almost as if there are waves washing over you, but it is important that you continue practicing until such time that you can bring this on at will. When you reach a point where you can bring on these waves whenever you wish, then you're at a stage when you're ready to leave your physical body.

* One of the most vital components to astral projection is having sufficient control in order to ensure that it's your mind that is in power. In order to strengthen your existing level of control, Monroe recommends that people practice partial separation. Here again, one should focus on leaving your physical body although in this case, you should only allow your hand or foot to go. Try to stretch your hand or foot out to towards an object which is nearby and then go ahead and push your hand or foot straight through the object. Once you manage to do that successfully, you can allow your hand or foot to return to your physical body and then you can go ahead and begin slowing down the vibrations in order to end your session.

* This last step is where you actually get to leave your physical body. Once again, you can follow all the previous steps but now, rather than only allowing a hand or foot to leave from the physical body, you're going to allow complete separation. In order to do this, you need to focus on just how weightless your body really is. In fact you can even try to imagine that your body is made up of feathers which are being blown around by the wind. At this point, your astral body should be starting to leave your physical body and this will become apparent as you begin to feel as though you are floating.

Other popular methods include techniques such as the gazing method, the anchor method, and the rope technique. Ideally, one should spend some time experimenting with the different techniques in order to establish which technique suits you the most.

What you do need to bear in mind however, is that not everyone can astral project immediately simply by using one of the techniques mentioned above, because after all, it does take practice.

Thanks to modern sound technology, those wishing to astral project can now make use of a shortcut. There is currently a new technique being used in order to induce a meditative state of mind which is necessary for actual projection. This technique aims to synchronize the two hemispheres of the brain by means of binaural beats. Basically, binaural beats consists of sound waves being played into each ear using different frequencies.
